FERRUM is an annual film festival bringing together Russian films of various genres, auteur works and projects dealing with pressing social and cultural issues. In 2026 the festival took place for the third time. Screenings and events were held at five venues, and the total number of visitors exceeded 10,000.
The FERRUM’26 program featured new Russian films, themed screenings, creative meetings and special programs. The festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the administration of the city of Zheleznovodsk.
The Audience Award carries special significance: it is granted by public vote, so it reflects the audience’s direct reaction to the film.
“Pastures of the Gods” is an adventure survival thriller set in the Pamir Mountains. A group of friends from Moscow goes on a hunting trip, but the journey gradually turns into a dangerous ordeal. Facing a deadly threat, the characters are forced to rethink their relationships with one another, their own beliefs and the consequences of their decisions.
The film explores themes of friendship, human choice, responsibility toward nature and the inner limits of a person. The unique landscapes of the Pamirs and the cultural atmosphere of the region play an important role, lending the story special expressiveness.
Every festival award is not only recognition of work already done, but also a new step toward the audience. The story of “Pastures of the Gods” goes on.
