Round table at the “Africa. Together into the Future” festival
General producer Alek Shakhbazyan took part in the networking session “Cross-Media Content of Russia and Africa” at the Tretyakov Gallery.
The second festival of African culture, “Africa. Together into the Future,” opened on October 16 in the Engineering Building of the State Tretyakov Gallery.
The festival gave Muscovites and visitors to the capital a unique chance to see, free of charge, striking works of contemporary African cinema that have never been released in Russia and are not available on streaming services, as well as to get to know contemporary African culture and take part in public talks and discussions on film, fashion, theater and more.
Our film company did not stand aside. On October 18, 2024, general producer Alek Shakhbazyan took part in the festival’s business program at the round table of the networking session “Cross-Media Content of Russia and Africa.”
During the session, film and television professionals from Russia and Africa discussed media cooperation. Cinema Concept Production presented its projects, and the discussion touched on the overall picture of media consumption, trends and audiences’ current demands.
